The IoTschools Project
IoT4Schools is a collaborative project funded under the Erasmus+ program, designed to bring the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) into secondary school education. Our project focuses on real-world applications of IoT, such as health monitoring, environmental protection, smart cities, and home automation. Through this initiative, we aim to develop students’ engineering skills and expand their knowledge in STEM fields. Additionally, we are committed to enhancing teachers’ competencies, enabling them to effectively teach IoT concepts and facilitate project-based learning in their classrooms.
The Online Collaboration Portal
The Online Collaboration Portal is a virtual platform designed to facilitate the sharing and collaboration of Internet of Things (IoT) projects among educators and students across Europe. As part of the IoT4schools initiative, this portal serves as a repository where teachers and learners can showcase their IoT-based projects, exchange ideas, and build a network of educational resources. It supports STEM-focused learning by providing open-access technical guides, hands-on IoT projects, and an interactive forum for integrating IoT into school curricula. Beyond project sharing, the portal fosters professional development through training sessions, ensuring the sustainability and continued expansion of IoT education across European schools
